Everything you need to know about joining Syndal Storm

We welcome boys and girls of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced players, across junior and senior teams.
Absolutely. Many of our players start with little or no experience. Our coaches focus on building skills, confidence, and game understanding from the ground up.
We offer teams from Under 11s through to Under 19s, as well as senior teams for adults.
New players can typically join at the start of each season, and we occasionally have mid-season openings depending on team availability.

Fees vary depending on age group and competition, but generally include:
- Team registration
- Game fees
- Training sessions
The total price for club registration for Winter 2026 is $375
Players may need to purchase:
- Playing uniform
- Optional training gear
- Basketball Victoria fees (added in at registration checkout)
Most teams have:
- 1 training session per week
- 1 game per week

Games are played at local stadiums in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs anywhere from North Ringwood to Mulgrave.
Training is held at the Bunjil Centre at Wheelers Hill Secondary College
Game days depend on age group and competition but are typically evenings or weekends. Juniors play Saturday day games and Seniors play Mid-week evenings.
